The City’s Health Landscape: 2024 Edition

Baybay City continues to prioritize the health and well-being of its residents through expanded services, upgraded facilities, and accessible care. The 2024 Health Landscape reflects the city government’s commitment to building a healthier, more resilient community.

At the heart of these efforts is the Baybay City Immaculate Conception Hospital, which has consistently improved its services this year. The hospital now accommodates a greater number of patients with newly added equipment and enhanced inpatient care. Specialized services have also expanded, catering to a wider range of medical needs.

Meanwhile, the City Health Office and its Nutrition Unit has ramped up its community health programs, ensuring that barangay-level services remain strong and consistent. Immunization drives, maternal and child health programs, mental health support, and nutrition campaigns have seen a significant boost in participation, thanks to continuous health education and proactive field visits by the health team.

The Baybay City Medical Diagnostic and Dialysis Center (BCMDDC) also saw key developments this year. With the addition of more dialysis machines and upgraded diagnostic tools, patients with chronic conditions now enjoy faster, more efficient services, reducing the need to travel far for life-saving treatments.

To further strengthen the city’s health sector, the local government has invested in new health infrastructure projects, including the purchase of state of the art medical equipment, construction of the Superhealth Complex, and the establishment of Blood Bank. These developments aim to ensure that every Baybayanon has access to quality healthcare, regardless of location or income.

The City Government of Baybay remains firm in its vision: to deliver responsive, inclusive, and quality health services for all.
